Nakuru to Karen, Nairobi - Thursday 21st January

Packed up camp and headed off about 9am for the couple of hundred km drive back to Debs place in Karen.Usual chaotic drive with lots of cars overtaking where ever they want at great speeds so always entertaining to watch whilst ensuring you keep your wits about you as they overtake on both sides of you.

Being a very fertile area lots of local people selling their produce on the side of the road. Tomatoes were the speciality of the day

We drove back on the other side of the Great Riff Valley with excellent views again. Got back to the Castle mid afternoon for overnight stay and caught up on some washing and reading. Had a great meal that night prepared by Debs with more overland ini adventure stories from them.
