Kande Beach - Saturday 6th Feb

Very late start to the day with a nice batch of crepes for breekie at 9am on a sunny morning whilst most other overland crews have finished serving their clients by 7.30- love the private tour.

One overland truck rolled out to travel north whilst another one came in travelling the same south  as us. The overland trucks generally hold 24 people with most only a third to half  full at the momen so tourism dollars are suffering right across the board in most countries however makes it very pleasant travelling for us.

Post breekie, Jo went to find a comfortable hammock near the beach whilst I stayed at the kitchen to do some blogging as it was one of the best mobile coverage points.

A late lunch followed at 2pm followed  by an afternoon  siesta with the alarm telling me it was 4.30 and Edward the ice man was due to drop off my frozen water bottle .He arrived a little late as Amanmda was setting up the BBQ for steaks and salad tonight. We were having hamburger "engine food "for lunch tomorrow so post dinner Amanda also cooked the hamburger patties .

No German girls tonight only the manager Skankey who also was keen to cook his steak on the BBQ and sneak in a little bit of Amanda's mushroom sauce
Rounded off a another relaxing day beside the lake.
